I am in Calif and need to evict tenants from my house in Boulevard Park. Is there a reputable business/individual that can handle that for me?
Also, since the girl that signed the contract is not living in the house, do I have to go through the complete process, or can I just give them a certain amount of days to vacate?
Tks,
Dave

Re: Eviction Process
Sat, August 19, 2006 - 2:46 PMI'd suggest familiarizing yourself with the Landlord - Tenant Act as an important element. You can read it here and find other related resources. www.atg.wa.gov/consumer/lt/ffi.shtml
If you follow its guidelines it should keep you out of creating any conflicts that will jeapordize your position.
Perhaps somene else here can give you a referral to a reputable eviction service/attorney. If that doesn't happen immediately, I'll ask my Property Management people on Monday about who they use. -

Re: Eviction Process
Sun, August 20, 2006 - 11:21 AMSeattle Tenant Landlord law Favors tenants pretty heavily. Read the laws carefully. My professional advice as a property manager is to hire a company to do it for you. It lessens the chances for any mistakes in the serving process and will hopefully make things easier for you in the long run.
